Student Poster session

Support

Directions and Accomodations

This year, we will again be able to provide travel support (for hotel and air travel; we do not anticipate being able to offer per diem or meal reimbursements) from our NSF grant for graduate students, postdocs, and junior faculty. Graduate students and postdocs are encouraged to submit a poster (see the poster submission page for some more details about this). All requests for support must be received by January 31, 2011.

To request support, please send an email to Travis Andrews at tandrews at math.umd.edu, containing the information listed below. All requests for support should be received by February 1, 2011. Please note that all hotel reservations will be made at the Quality Inn; supported visitors will have their hotel reservation made for them by the department. Support is limited and not guaranteed until approval.

• Advisor (if a graduate student) and whether you will participate in the poster session

• Phone number
• Location you will be traveling from (please also indicate which airport you will fly into, if applicable), method, and approximate cost of travel (keep in mind that all air travel must be made on a US flag air carrier)
• Travel dates (we can pay for the hotel only for the nights of February 16 - 18, but we can make the reservation for longer if you will be in town)
